Acreditación de medios abierta para las Finales de la Copa Mundial de Softbol Femenino

La inscripción de medios está abierta para las Finales de la Copa Mundial de Softbol Femenino, que se jugará en Castions di Strada, Italia, del 15 al 20 de julio. La fecha límite para registrarse es el viernes 12 de julio.

Todos los miembros de los medios de comunicación, tanto locales/nacionales como internacionales (incluidos aquellos que se han registrado previamente para eventos de la WBSC), que planean cubrir las Finales de la Copa Mundial de Softbol Femenino WBSC, deben solicitar la acreditación a través de la plataforma en línea oficial de Acreditación de Medios de la WBSC en https://my.wbsc.org.

El procedimiento de acreditación se inicia haciendo clic en ACREDITACIONES DE MEDIOS. Luego, complete el formulario de solicitud en línea, incluida una foto de la cabeza.

Una vez enviada la solicitud, los miembros de los medios recibirán una confirmación automática por correo electrónico de que se ha recibido su solicitud.

Another automated message will indicate a "change of status" in the accreditation request.

Los miembros de los medios pueden verificar el estado de su solicitud después de la fecha límite de registro, el 12 de julio, accediendo a my.wbsc.org y haciendo clic SEARCH FOR YOUR ACCREDITATION on the top right of the page. They will then need to enter their name, last name and email address they have used to register.

A pre-tournament press conference will be scheduled. Details will follow at a later stage.

The WBSC will share a media interview protocol before the Castions di Strada tournament opens.

All WBSC Media Department communications during the Women's Softball World Cup Final will reach the approved media members via e-mail

GUIDELINES FOR NON-RIGHTS HOLDING (“NRH”) MEDIA

• Only rights holders of applicable games may transmit game footage (audio and/or video) of WBSC events.
• NRH media credentials provide access to official training sessions, games, and Opening/Closing Ceremonies.
• Specific categories will grant credentials (i.e., Press, Photographer, Radio and TV, Team Media), and stadium access will be given accordingly.
• Photographers, NRH TV crews, and Team Media will be required to wear WBSC-issued media vests.

The Event

The XVII WBSC Women's Softball World Cup opened in 2023 with the Group Stage, which involved 18 National Teams split into three groups hosted by Ireland, Spain, and Italy. The top eight finishers of the 2023 Group Stage will compete in the 2024 finals.

The eight finalists will split into two groups.

World No. 1 and defending World Champions USA, No. 5 Canada, the hosts, and No. 6 Italy and No. 17 China will play in Group A.

Group B will include No. 2 Puerto Rico, No. 3 Japan, No. 8 Netherlands, and No. 10 Australia.

The opening round will run from July 15 to 17.

The top two finishers of each group will compete in the Super Round on July 18 and 19.

The first and second-place finishers in the Super Round will play for the Women's Softball World Title. The number three and four seeds will play for a bronze medal. The medal games are scheduled for Saturday, July 20.
