WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2024 starts Monday; Where to Watch

The broadcast rights to the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup - Finals have been awarded to 20 countries worldwide throughout various networks and streaming services. Eight nations will compete for the Gold Medal: Australia, Canada, China, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico and USA.

Fans around the world can watch the best of international women's softball with the World Baseball Softball Confederation's (WBSC)’s online streaming platform GameTime showcasing all the games of the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2024, which takes place from 15 to 20 July in Castions di Strada, Italy.

Broadcast rights of the tournament have been awarded to Italy with Sky Italia, to Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan via Viju+. beIN sports is showing the XVII Women’s Softball World Cup – Finals in the United States and in Canada. Lights Out sports, Bolt+, FTF Live (Sportstalk) and STIRR have broadcast rights in the United States as well.

Softball fans can watch the tournament in Mexico through TVC Deportes, Canal 4 in Nicaragua, BS11 in Japan and Wapa TV in Puerto Rico. All games from China will be streamed through the OTT platform Weibo in China.

The Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2024 in Castions di Strada, Italy gets underway on Monday with Japan facing Australia at 11:00 CEST. Following which, the Netherlands square off with Puerto Rico, USA taking on Canada and host Italy playing against China.

The tournament is being played on six game days with the preliminary round from Monday to Wednesday. The Super Round takes place on Thursday and Friday followed by the Bronze Medal and Gold Medal Games on Saturday. You can see the full schedule here including live play by play for all games.

Viewers will be able to watch WBSC Women’s Softball Cup - Finals action for one day by obtaining a Daily Pass, covering all games scheduled on a single day. The one-day pass will be available for $7.99 US dollars.

The Women's Softball World Cup is being played since 1965. Last year the first stage was played with Group A in Balbriggan, Ireland, Group B in Valencia, Spain and Group C in Buttrio and Castions die Strada, Italy. The United States are entering the tournament as defending champions having defeated Japan 3-2 in the Gold Medal Game in Birmingham, USA in 2022.
