WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup All-World First Baseman Patrick Silva to sign with MLB's Philadelphia Phillies

Silva finished the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2024 with a .481 batting average. The Phillies also showed interest in pitcher Filippo Sabatini.

WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup star Patrick Silva will sign a professional contract with the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Silva led Italy's lineup, going 13-for-27 (a .481 batting average) with two triples, three doubles and seven RBIs. His performance led him to the tournament's All-World Team.

Silva has already debuted in the Italian Serie A with Settimo Baseball.
