The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) staged a pitching softball clinic in Kyiv, Ukraine, as a part of the Development Program of the organization. Czech pitching coach Lucie Maršíková instructed the 5-day clinic.
The aim of the activity was to increase individual and team skills and the playing level of Ukrainian players. The clinics covered advanced drills, mechanics, and philosophies of the world-class softball.
Almost 30 players participated in the event. The clinic was open to players and coaches from any age and skill level, including beginner and advanced players.
It was the first of three stages of the pitching clinics program in Ukraine. The next activity is scheduled from 9-14 July, while the final clinic will be staged in October.
