USA Softball hosted three exhibition two-game series at OGE Energy Field at Devon Park, Oklahoma City, featuring three USA Women's Softball National Teams - U-18, Women's Elite and the Women's National Team.
The Women's National Team defeated the professional team Oklahoma City Spark, 4-2 and 11-4 with Megan Faraimo, Rachel Garcia and Ally Carda limiting the Sparks to six hits and two runs in the first game.
Jessie Warren went 2-for-2 with four RBIs in the second game, leading USA to a 12-game hit. Amanda Lorenz, Hannah Flippen (two RBIs), and Janae Jefferson (two RBIs) also had a multi-hit game. The Sparks scored their three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
The Women's Elite Team outscored World No. 13 Great Britain, 11-1 and 11-0. The US combined 28 hits and their pitchers allowed six.
The U-18 National Team shut out a local All-Star selection, 2-0 and 7-0.
Addisen Fischer and Savior Timmerman combined a one-hitter in Game One. Payton Westra and Isabella Ruggiero provided the two runs.
Lexie Hames and Cameryn Harrison blanked the All-Star lineup, combining a no-hitter in Game Two. Harrison also batted in four of the seven runs.
The United States are the No. 1 programme in the WBSC/Konami Women's Softball World Ranking.
The Women's National Team, led by head coach Heather Tarr, will defend their title of World Champion at the Women's Softball World Cup Finals in Castions di Strada, Italy, from July 15 to 20.
The U-18 National Team, led by head coach Kyla Holas, will host the WBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup Group C in Oklahoma City from August 29 to September 2.
The Women's Elite Team, led by head coach Kelly Kretschman, will face World No. 3 Japan in a three-game series in Nagoya, Fujinomiya and Yokohama from July 4 to 8.
