Samurai Japan to warm up for Premier12 in two-game series with Czechia

The Premier12 defending champions and World No. 1 will face No. 15 Czechia on 9 and 10 November at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya, where Japan will debut against Australia in WBSC's flagship event.

World No. 1 Japan will warm up for the Premier12 2024 presented by RAXUS playing a two-game series against No. 15 Czechia.

The RAXUS Samurai Japan Series is scheduled for Saturday, November 9, and Sunday, November 10, at the Vantelin Dome Nagoia.

Czechia became a fan favourite in Japan during the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

Samurai Japan manager Hirokazu Ibata has already started the scouting process for the upcoming Premier12. He recently appeared with pitching coach Kazuki Yoshimi at the Tokyo Dome during pregame activities of Yomiuri Giants-Fukuoka Softbank Hawk of the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) regular season.

Japan will debut in the Premier12 2024 presented by RAXUS on November 13 at the Vantelin Nagoya Dome, facing No. 11 Australia.
