Registration open for ITA monthly webinar - Medical Professionals’ Role in Clean Sport - on June 26

The educational event, which will be held online from 14:00 to 15:00 (CEST) on June 26, is part of the collaboration between the WBSC 'Play Ball Play Fair' campaign and the International Testing Agency.

Medical professionals are crucial in supporting athletes and must understand the anti-doping landscape and their responsibilities therefore, the International Testing Agency (ITA) monthly webinar will discuss their role from 14:00 to 15:00, Central European Summer Time (CEST) on Wednesday, June 26.

The webinar will cover key topics to help medical professionals effectively support their athletes, including:

  • The Prohibited List
  • Therapeutic Use Exemptions
  • The role of team physicians at events

Three expert panellists will run the session: Dr Lucienne Attard, a member of the ITA’s Therapeutic Use Exemption Panel; Dr Carole Okoth, a member of the ITA’s Health & Clinical Expert Advisory Group; and Dr Mark Stuart, the ITA’s Drugs; Health & Development Senior Manager.

The panellists will answer questions at the end of the session.

The webinar will be in English with simultaneous translation to four additional languages – Arabic (العربية), Spanish (español), French (français) and Russian (русский).
