Eight teams will participate in the 15th edition of the Puerto Rican Women's Baseball League (LBF, Liga de Béisbol Femenino): Arecibo Lobas, Juana Diaz Poetas, Guayama Estrellas del Guamanì, Yauco Cafeteras, Vega Alta Maceteras, Las Piedras Artesanas and Cabo Rojo Piratas.

The season will open on Sunday, August 18, at the Gregoria Tejada Stadium in the Domingo Ruiz village with a double header between the three-time defending champions Lobas and the 2023 runners up Maceteras.

After a 14-game regular season, the top four finishers will compete in the best-of-three semifinals. The winners will play for the title in the best-of-five finals series.

Lobas have won 12 of the 14 editions.

The season is dedicated to their manager, Diamilette Quiles. The former WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup star was the first woman to compete and coach in the men's Double-A League
