Mexico releases Roster for II 12U Baseball World Cup

The Mexican Baseball Federation has released its roster for the upcoming II 12U Baseball World Cup, which will be held in Taipei City from July 18 to 28.

The Mexican Baseball Federation has released its roster for the upcoming II 12U Baseball World Cup, which will be held in Taipei City from July 18 to 28.

Mexico is slotted into Pool A together with Italy, Japan, Czech Republic, Chinese Taipei, Brazil and the Philippines. Their first opponent will be the Squadra Azzurri on Thursday at 10 am local time at Youth Park Stadium.

The 18-player roster will be headed by manager Eleuterio Corzo and head coach Alberto Sanchez. At the inaugural edition of the 12U Baseball World Cup in 2011, Mexico cruised through the first round with a perfect 5-0 record, but eventually was defeated in the semi-finals by Chinese Taipei.
