Good work was done this weekend at the MLB Clinic at Sant Boi Field in Spain. Over 60 players and two famous stars from Major League Baseball: Jeremy Guthrie was in charge of the pitching staff, marveled with his out-going character and affection for the kid. Salvador Perez was working with the catchers, which could absorb some experience from a MLB All Star Player.

It was a nice weekend with interesting activities. On Saturday, both players held clinics explaining their knowledge and experience in the Majors and distributed innovations in the pitchers and catcher movements, as well as the basics of hitting by Perez.

One of the highlights of the Clinic was when Jeremy Guthrie was mounted on the pitching rubber to pitch the entire game for a young group on Sunday, the Kansas City pitcher threw to all hitters and threw his powerful straight fastball, a big change up and impressive curve ball.

On another occasion Salvador Perez took batting practice, as all participants were able to enjoy the luxury of seeing kilometer long home runs and untold power worthy of a Major Leaguer. A thank you goes to all participants, the Sant Boi Club and all the parents who made this activity possible.
