ePremier12 Japan Finals to be held at Tokyo Game Show 2024 in September

WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS players in Japan will have a shot at making it to the ePremier12 starting in October. The Online tournament begins on 9 September before a Japanese qualifier takes place on 29 September with an in-person tournament at the Tokyo Game Show 2024.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) announced the details of the HUGAN ePremier12 Japan Qualifier, which includes an online tournament in WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS and a special in-person finals.

The online Japan eBaseball™ Cup will be the first stage of the qualifier, which will take place from 9 to 16 September, before the in-person, single-elimination ePremier12 Japan Finals, featuring the top eight players who reside in Japan, take place live at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 on 29 September.

The winner of the Japan Finals will receive a berth as one of the 12 players in the HUGAN WBSC ePremier12 2024, which will take place from 26 October to 24 November (Opening Round on 26-27 October in the North Carolina (USA) and 2-3 November in New Taipei City (TPE). The Super Round and the Third Place Game will take place from 21-24 November at the KONAMI Creative Center while the Championship Game will take place at the world-famous Tokyo Dome).

Last year, WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS was staged at the Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. (KONAMI) booth at Tokyo Game Show for the first time, where the WBSC eBaseball™ Series was revealed along with an exhibition match. This year, the Tokyo Game Show 2024, one of the biggest gaming Expos in Japan, is scheduled from September 26 – 29 at Makuhari Messe.
