USA U-18 Baseball National Team to open camp on 17 July

USA Baseball announced that the 2024 U-18 National Team will open camp on July 17 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina. The training camp will comprise 80 players and feature on-field workouts, intrasquad games and more before the final U-18 USA roster is announced on July 21.

The final 20-player roster will then reconvene in Cary for three days of training from July 28-30. Following training, the team will travel to Panama to compete in the WBSC Americas U-18 Baseball World Cup Qualifier. The tournament is scheduled from August 2 to 11.

Beijing 2008 Olympic bronze medallist Rick Eckstein will manage the 2024 U-18 USA. His staff will include World Series winners David Eckstein and Brad Penny.
