Women's Softball World Cup Finals: June 15 ticket promotion marks one month to go

The Italian Baseball Softball Federation (FIBS) will launch a 24-hour ticket promotion on Saturday, June 15, to mark the 30 day countdown to the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals. Tickets and tournament passes will be available with a 30% discount at 00:01 (Italian time zone, CEST) and until 23:59 (CEST).

The date will mark one month to go to the Finals, which will take place in Castions di Strada, Italy. Tickets and day passes are available on the VIVA TICKET platform.

The XVII WBSC Women's Softball World Cup opened in 2023 with the Group Stage, which involved 18 National Teams split into three groups hosted by Ireland, Spain, and Italy. The top eight finishers of the 2023 Group Stage will compete in the 2024 finals in Castions di Strada, Udine, from July 15 to 20.

The eight finalists will split into two groups.

World No. 1 and defending World Champions USA, No. 5 Canada, the hosts, and No. 6 Italy and No. 17 China will play in Group A.

Group B will include No. 2 Puerto Rico, No. 3 Japan, No. 8 Netherlands, and No. 10 Australia.

The Opening Round will run from July 15 to 17.

The top two finishers of each group will compete in the Super Round on July 18 and 19.

The first and second-place finishers in the Super Round will play for the Women's Softball World Title. The number three and four seeds will play for a bronze medal. The medal games are scheduled for Saturday, July 20.
