WBSC Premier12 2024 ticket sales in Japan red hot, over 20 per cent sold in first week

More than 20 per cent of tickets for the WBSC Premier12 2024 presented by RAXUS games in Japan have been sold within the first week of availability since going on sale to the Japan baseball community on 2 September. Overseas and general public sales will commence on 1 October, allowing fans worldwide the opportunity to secure their seat at this prestigious international baseball event.

Tickets to the WBSC Premier12 2024 presented by RAXUS games in Japan are proving very popular with over 20 per cent of tickets already sold in the first week alone. This strong initial response underscores the excitement surrounding WBSC's flagship tournament, which showcases the best of international baseball.

On 2 September, tickets were first made available to Japan baseball clubs and community while fans had access to the pre-application period from 2 to 8 September, allowing them to express interest in attending the highly anticipated opening game between Japan and Australia, scheduled for 13 November at Vantelin Dome Nagoya as well as the Super Round games due to take place in the world famous Tokyo Dome from 21-24 November.

Following this, an advanced booking phase took place from 12 to 16 September, leading into a general pre-sale from 17 to 30 September.

The general public will be able to purchase tickets starting 1 October 2024, coinciding with the commencement of overseas sales. This ensures that baseball enthusiasts from around the world can secure their seats for what promises to be an exhilarating tournament.

The Super Round of the WBSC Premier12 2024 presented by RAXUS will feature the top two teams from Group A, which includes Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Puerto Rico, United States and Venezuela, and Group B, consisting of Australia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Japan, Korea and Chinese Taipei.

The tournament will start with the Opening Round from 9-18 November held in various venues - Group A in Guadalajara and Tepic, (MEX) and Group B in Nagoya (JPN) and Taipei City (TPE), leading to the Super Round at the iconic Tokyo Dome. The final match is set for 24 November, where the top two teams will compete for the championship.
