Play-Offs schedule set for WBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup Group A

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) announced the schedule for Saturday's Playoffs of theWBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup Group A. After the completion of the Opening Round, Chinese Taipei, New Zealand, Czechia and Great Britain will play for the two available tickets for next year's Finals.

The top two sides in the standings will play each other for the ticket to the Finals. The loser of the first playoff game will then play against the winner of the game between third and fourth, for the second spot in the Finals.

Chinese Taipei clinched the No. 1 spot with a 5-0 record, followed by New Zealand with a 3-2 mark. Both teams will play at 16:00 local time with the winner punching their ticket to next year's Finals.

Czechia and Great Britain earned the third and fourth-place spots respectively, and will face each other in an elimination game at 13:00.

The winner of this game will play against the loser between Chinese Taipei and New Zealand for the second spot in the Finals. This game is scheduled at 19:00.

Colombia and Brazil will play for fifth place at 10:00.

The top two teams in each group, plus two wild cards, will move to the WBSC Men's Softball World Cup Finals next year, which will take place in Dallas, USA.
